Decimal studios is located in Hampton, greater London. The purpose built, air conditioned, studio is setup on a private island in the middle of the River Thames. Flooded with natural daylight the studio is the perfect location to record artists or any size.
The studio is run by Chris Coulter whose passion for music and sound started whilst playing guitar as a child. Inspired, Chris studied ‘Music Production’ at the internationally acclaimed ‘Academy Of Contemporary Music’ in Guildford and later gained a BA (Hons) Degree in ‘Music Technology’.
Chris has over 12 years of experience in the music industry; producing, mixing and mastering over 300 artists including Arcane Roots, Jamie Lenman, Arctic Lake, A Plastic Rose, Sun Arcana, Chanti Town, EMP!RE, Idles, Welcome The Howling Tones (ex-Hundred Reasons) and Guy Lawrence (now of Disclosure fame). Chris has also worked on projects with notable producers that include Dan Austin, Scott Harding, Dave Schiffman, Adrian Bushby, Sean Genockey, Space and Rupert Christie.
Chris has an excellent rapport with all of his clients and builds long-standing relationships. He understands that to produce the best possible records the artists need to feel relaxed and at home in the studio for their creativity to flow.
RECORDING: When your songs are ready I can produce and engineer your record to the highest of standards.
MIXING: Mixing is an art form and is often the missing link in a great production. I can take your raw tracks recorded at any studio and create commercial release quality recordings.
MASTERING: Taking your completed tracks to the next level. Mastering is the final stage in the recording process to make sure that the tracks sound as good as they possible can on multiple systems.
